Fraser Kerr has experienced multiple roles across abrdn since joining as an intern, gaining invaluable experience working as a Financial Planner and now leading the team across Scotland in his current role as Regional Director.

Throughout a commitment to development and focus on people, both internal colleagues and clients, Fraser has seen first-hand that taking this relentless focus to people is core to being a success moving forward and where his key motivation comes from.

Fraser is a firm believer that despite the technical underpin that runs through all aspects of financial planning, it is a people business first and foremost. Continuing to meet the challenges of an evolving industry requires this attention to development and progress within the team for the benefit of clients.

Fraser is married and has a daughter under the age of 1 who keeps both him and his wife on their toes with her energy, however, he finds spending time with the girls is a key priority and source of real enjoyment. Keeping active, continuing to challenge himself and being a keen traveller all help to fill the spaces in between looking after his daughter.
